Viva La Velocita Car Show at St Marys

Gary’s daughter is a member of the Dante Club at St Mary’s College in Moraga, and they invited us to play their second annual Viva La Velocita vintage car show on May 3.

It was crazy weather for May and we were setting up in the rain – more sprinkles than downpour, but challenging with live electronics! Fortunately we had a couple popup tents for shelter.

It was a fun, chill morning. We played for a couple hours- making sure to hit any songs with car references- even a bit of Low Rider in the sound check. Funny moment that Xeno captured on video – playing Shattered, singing “turn the car around” with this beautiful blue late 60’s Fiat Dino Coupe turning around to park in front of us.
