Our good friend Jimmy Wong invited us to play at his 50th birthday blowout at the San Ramon Community Center. We were in the Fountain Room, which has a nice stage and plenty of room for Jimmy’s huge circle of friends.

Jimmy’s only request was that we play Summer of 69 (since that’s the year he was born.) We pulled that together at the last minute, and it was a hit!

Also, we Jimmified a couple tunes- we changed the phone number in Jenny from 867-5309 to Jimmy’s number, and now everyone at the party knows Jimmy’s cell phone number by heart.

And our grand finale, a song that will never be the same- “Sweet Jimmy Wong”!  – with the entire crowd singing in a chorus line, “Wong wong wong!”
