Canyon Park

Our buddy and event coordinator extraordinaire,  Jimmy Wong, arranged a block party for his homeowners association in Canyon Park on October 28, and invited us to play. We were set up in a cul-de-sac, backed by trees and one of the San Ramon creeks. We were right around the corner from the San Ramon police and fire departments, and Jimmy arranged for them to stop by for a meet and greet during lunch.

New for today, we added a subwoofer to our PA, and it was kickin!  Aside from the scheduled police visit, the local PD arrived early in response to a noise complaint after our initial sound check playing some Bassnectar. Boooooom! Someone is a little grumpy on a Sunday afternoon! Fortunately, there were no further complaints and we were able to continue uninterrupted.

Fun time, with lots of kids and (and even some of the parents!) dancing.
